The National Diabetes Research Foundation plans to fulfill its goal by researching diabetes research facilities and laboratories to ensure funding through donations are directly towards the most useful and effective research. Money donated for a severe disease like diabetes should go directly to the scientists conducting the research, not to other unrelated activities.

The National Diabetes Research Foundation gathers resources and advice from professionals in the medical, legal and business fields.
